Two PWHS singers headed to District Chorus

Two PWHS singers headed to District Chorus

Congratulations to Plymouth Whitemarsh High School juniors Katie Abai and Ace Cratin for qualifying for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 11 Chorus. Katie will be performing on Soprano I, and Ace will be performing on Tenor II.

PWHS chorus director Jeffrey Cooper is proud of the pair's achievements. "Both students participated in last year's festival, and with that experience, ranked even higher in these auditions," he said. "They both take music very seriously and are both involved in all three main music ensembles—orchestra, concert band, and chorus—at PWHS."

The singers participated in a competitive audition process at Upper Merion High School. Of the approximately 350 students from Bucks and Montgomery counties who auditioned for the group, only 160 were selected.
