Kindergarten registration is open for the 2026-27school year

Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year is now open online! Children who will turn 5 by Sept. 15 of this year are eligible. 

If you have an eligible child, you may submit your child’s registration form online through PowerSchool, our student information system. Register by clicking here to get to the PowerSchool log-in page. Log in using your existing PowerSchool credentials and follow the prompts for each section of the form. Since you will be asked to upload documents when you begin your child’s registration form, it might be a good idea to have the following pieces of information ready to upload when you begin. You will be allowed to save the form and return to it later as long as you do not submit it. Items required for new student registration include:

• Proof of residency (deed or tax bill for homeowners/lessee affidavit, lease, and landlord letter for renters)

• Proof of age/parental status (birth certificate, custody order, passport, insurance/tax forms, etc.)

• Child’s immunization records

• Child’s dental/physical forms

• Child’s IEP, GIEP, 504, or evaluation reports (if applicable)

• Request for health and school records permission form

These items can be uploaded as image files (jpg, png) or document files (PDF, Word, etc.). Necessary forms can be found on our registration page, if you don’t already have them.

Once your registration is submitted, it will be reviewed by our Central Registrar, Lenore Ciccolone. If information is missing or there are special circumstances related to residency, she may follow up with you and schedule an in-person appointment. Otherwise, your next communication will come from your child’s building.

OTHER IMPORTANT KINDERGARTEN NOTES:

• Save the date for the spring Kindergarten Orientation, which will be the evening of Wednesday, May 6, at each of our K-3 buildings. You will get an invitation closer to the date of the event from your building principal to attend.

• Kindergarten students will report to school for the new school year on Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, for orientation. Classroom instruction will begin on Tuesday, Sept 1. To access the most recent version of the 2026-27 calendar, please click here.
